Saturday & Sunday, August 23-24, 2014


Brackets                     Recreational - Div III, Div IV-Rec   No tournament teams allowed in the recreational

Division

Rec-Plus - U-8, U-9 and U-10 Rec Plus teams only in this division

Competitive - Age and Division pure brackets will be formed if possible.

The tournament committee reserves the rightto determine which age group a team will play.

No. of Games Each team in eachdivision will have a minimum of 3 games scheduled for play.

Fees                                         $120- U7 and U8 rec only

(Payable to                           $180- U8, U9 and U10 (including Rec Plus) U8 Rec Plus in this group

$240 - U11 and U12, Division I, Super 2 and Division 2 $300 - U13to U19 Division III (Rec)

$325- U13 to U19 Division I, Super 2, and Division 2

EntryDeadline Entry forms must be postmarked by August 11, 2014 (e-mail us whensending).   Entry
                                                forms not accepted until payment is received.  Entry forms received after brackets are full
                                               willbe placed on a waiting list pending the formation of other brackets or the withdrawal
                                               ofother teams.

 

Refunds                                 100% for teams that cannot be accommodated due to fullbrackets.

50% for withdrawal if another team fills spot inbracket, otherwise no refund.

 

Rain-out Policy                  Inthe event of a total tournament rain-out, entry feesless actual expenses will be

Refunded.  In the event of a partialrain-out, games will be rescheduled when possible, within tournament time restraints. First and Second place teams will be determined based on gamescompleted.  No refunds will be given oncethe tournament begins.

 

Team/Player                       Primary teams only (2014/2015 season) plus three (3) guestplayers for recreational

Division.  Opencompetition for the competitive division.

 

Requirements                     Rosters are limited to the maximum allowed by STYSA foreach age group.  Each team

Will provide a roster signed by the coach andthe association registrar.   Each player will have a valid ID card and a signed medicalrelease.  Players without proper paperworkwill not be allowed to play.

 

Format                   U 7- U 8:      20 min. halves              (4 v 4)                    U11 - U12: 25 minute halves            (8 v 8)

U 9 - U10: 20 minute halves             (6 v 6)                    U13 - U16: 30 minute halves            (11 v 11)

U17 - U19: 35 minute halves            (11v 11)

 

Scoring                 6 points for win, 3points for a tie, 1 point per goal (3 max) & 1 point for shutout.

 

Protests                 There is no formal protestprocedure.   Anyprotest will be resolved by the field marshal or

Tournament director after conclusion of the game.
